Andy The Goose® is the bane of my existence. I also love everything about this story.
Andy Interrupted *tickets on sale now!*

Do you know the story of Andy The Goose®? Get it direct from the granddaughter of a Hastings, Nebraska inventor who fashioned shoes for a goose. Reckon with the absurd details of a local true family story you didn’t know you needed to hear.
After Grandpa Gene, an eccentric inventor, crossed paths with a footless gray goose, he modified a pair of size 0 baby shoes to fit the bird. This quirky act of kindness led to a confident goose strut, 1980s pre-viral fame, and… murder!
Andy Interrupted: The Andy the Goose Story.
The one woman show will talk about Korgie’s eccentric childhood before Andy and divulge the truth of what happened after, and is still happening today.
More about the Speaker: Jessica Korgie was twelve when her grandfather, Gene Fleming brought home a footless gray goose. Then after a little puff piece in the local newspaper snowballed in 1988. Andy the inveterate goose with hightops became a worldwide hero.
It was cool the morning a body was found slain and skinned, with but a pair of old cowboy boots on, near the Aquacourt pool. Thus began the mystery of who killed Andy the Goose.
2026's show will provide the unique perspective of a story lived then drug around for thirty-five years of Korgie's life. From apathetic teen to reluctant sleuth, Korgie will reveal it all through her unique brand of humor with a family archive you'll never expect. As usual this year's Andy Interrupted comes with updates!
Hope to see you there.
Jess
Here is some past attempts to lift awareness about Andy.
Judging by the amount of emails I get offering web redesign, I’m doing something right.

Then and now. Okay, I wasn’t on the Love Boat but this headshot needed a little something and 70’s cheese is a guilty pleasure much like Andy Interrupted, click the link for booking info.
The bronze statue fundraiser is always a thing I suck at. But, what’s been raised is in a safe bank account ready for Daddy Warbucks to find the Andy the Goose Bronze Statue fund raiser. Which apparently doesn’t exist because it’s been two years since a donation and GoFundMe deleted it. REST ASSURED – If you donated, the money is safe. We’ve raised over $500.00 for the statue. Only $45,000.00 to go! Contact sales@andythegoose.com if you have any ideas to raise the funds.
